Terms and Conditions

On-Site Computer Repair Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all computer repair, diagnostic, and related services provided by EZ PC Services to the customer.

By authorizing service, the Customer agrees to the terms outlined below.


1. Services

The Service Provider offers computer‑related services including, but not limited to:

  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Hardware repair or replacement
  • Software installation, configuration, and removal
  • Virus, malware, and spyware removal
  • Data transfer or recovery (best‑effort only)

All services are performed on a best‑effort basis.


2. No Guarantee of Repair

  • The Service Provider does not guarantee that any device can or will be repaired.
  • Some issues may be caused by hidden damage, manufacturer defects, or pre‑existing conditions that cannot be resolved.
  • Completion times are estimates only and not guaranteed.


3. Data Backup and Data Loss

  • The Customer is solely responsible for backing up all data prior to service.
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for data loss, corruption, or inaccessibility.
  • Data recovery, if requested, is not guaranteed regardless of the service performed.


4. Parts and Replacement Components

  • Replacement parts may be new, refurbished, or equivalent‑quality unless otherwise specified.
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for manufacturer defects after installation.
  • Any warranties on parts are limited to those provided by the manufacturer or supplier.


5. Customer‑Provided Information and Access

If login credentials or passwords are provided:

  • They are used solely for diagnostic and repair purposes
  • They are not retained after service completion
  • Customers are strongly encouraged to change passwords after repair


6. Fees and Payment

  • All fees will be disclosed prior to service whenever possible
  • Additional work required after diagnosis may incur additional charges and will require customer approval
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing


7. Limited Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service Provider is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages
  • Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for damages caused by malware, third‑party software, or unauthorized modifications


8. Right to Refuse Service

The Service Provider reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service at its discretion, including but not limited to cases involving:

  • Illegal content
  • Unsafe or hazardous equipment
  • Abusive or threatening behavior


9. Warranty on Labor

  • Labor is warranted for 30 days on the specific repair performed
  • Warranty does not cover new issues, user damage, software changes, or unrelated failures



Remote Services – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all remote computer repair, technical support, and consulting services provided by EZ PC Services (“Service Provider”) to the customer (“Customer”).

By requesting or authorizing remote support, the Customer agrees to these Terms.


1. Scope of Remote Services

Remote computer repair services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Software troubleshooting and configuration
  • System optimization and updates
  • Virus, malware, and spyware removal
  • Application installation or removal
  • User guidance and consultation

Remote services do not include physical hardware repair.


2. Authorization for Remote Access

By accepting service, the Customer:

  • Grants the Service Provider permission to remotely access their device
  • Understands the Service Provider may view files, settings, and system information necessary for repair
  • Acknowledges remote access will be terminated upon completion of service

The Customer may revoke access at any time by ending the remote session.


3. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

  • Be present or reasonably available during the remote session unless otherwise arranged
  • Close confidential or sensitive files before support begins
  • Ensure a stable internet connection
  • Have proper authorization to request service on the device

The Service Provider is not responsible for delays or failures caused by poor connectivity or user interference.


4. Data Backup and Data Loss

  • The Customer is solely responsible for backing up all data before remote service begins
  • The Service Provider is not liable for data loss, corruption, or inaccessibility
  • Data recovery services, if requested, are best‑effort only and not guaranteed

5. Security and Privacy

  • Reasonable care is taken to protect Customer data during service
  • No passwords or credentials are retained after service completion
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for pre‑existing security breaches, malware, or vulnerabilities

Customers are strongly encouraged to change passwords after remote support.


6. No Guarantee of Resolution

  • Remote repair services are provided on a best‑effort basis
  • Some issues cannot be resolved remotely due to hardware failure, system corruption, or external factors
  • The Service Provider does not guarantee full resolution, performance improvement, or compatibility


7. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are disclosed prior to service whenever possible
  • Services may be billed by time, flat rate, or per incident
  • Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • No refunds are provided for time spent attempting repairs


8. Limited Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Service Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific remote service
  • The Service Provider is not responsible for loss of business, profits, or use of the device


9. Unsupported or Prohibited Activities

The Service Provider will not assist with:

  • Illegal or unethical activities
  • Circumventing security, licensing, or digital rights controls
  • Accessing systems without proper ownership or authorization

The Service Provider reserves the right to terminate service immediately if such activity is suspected.


10. Right to Refuse or Terminate Service

Service may be refused or terminated due to:

  • Abusive or inappropriate behavior
  • Unsafe or unstable systems
  • Misrepresentation or lack of authorization
